I seem to remember this. Nice vocals. I won't say the voice is like Avril Lavigne. I'd say it's a good rock voice. Fits well. Probably no real help here. I like the song, and the performance is good. You seemed to capture it well. I like your guitar tone. Fits within this song very well. I'd like to hear a higher bitrate version, as I hear some MP3 artifacts in the cymbal crashes. I don't think it is a problem, just not enough bitrate for this particular song.

Couple of things that jump out at me (I don't listen to this style). The Acoustic? in the intro sounds small/brittle. During the verses I think it should be more full, when the distorted guitars come in it seems to sit better. The electrics sound like they were done direct. I could be wrong but they might sit a little better with a little more ambience. The bass line doesn't work IMHO. Its distracting during the verses and doesn't really hold down the footing like it should in this type of stuff. Some of the leads could flow a little better but thats probably me just being picky since im a guitarist.

Well that acoustic sounds more like an electric DI trying to go after an acoustic guitar sound to me. Anyhow, it needs the volumes leveled.
I would pull back the cymbal crashes or set them in the mix more at 11 and 1 instead of hard panned.
I don't think the bass line is bad, just a little much.
I like your Chorus harmony on vox, sounds good.
I don't think the DI lead guit part is bad, just needs a little crunchier sounds to fit the song. Try switching to the bridge p/u it might sit better, similar to the run in the chorus, that ones tight.

Good vocals...But I don't know if claiming you're a "Male Avril Lavigne" is exactly the best way to market yourself.
