Cover - True Faith/New Order

This is a cover I made up for fun. I am still learning how to sing it correctly so the vox aren't in there. (read repetitive sounding)

Just curious as to how it sounds so far. Thanks for listening. Space

The guitar tone is way cool. Sounds pretty good so far. Very clean. Tell me a bit about how it was done.....equipement, order and such...
I like it. You need to get the vocals in there. Well done, SpaceBoy.

Is it a real bass, or keys? I like the tone. Tell us more, and finish the song...please..

The guitar tone is too muddy, but it has potential. Has a nice driving distortion. Too much lo mids maybe or not enough highs. Sampled drums, which kinda fits the 80s vibe. I would boost the drums and add LOADS AND LOADS of reverb. YAAA!

Bass and Drums are done with Fruity Loops. I have since recorded a DI bassline that sounds pretty good. I'm still struggling with the vox though. I can't pull off anykind of voice that matches the song. Hey, maybe I'll post it as a Vox rumble and pull out some different vocal stylings?

No problem. Did you use the Orange distortion and not a pedal?

I used the BigMuff for the fat (chorus) rhythm parts and the Orange clean on the quieter verse sections. I used the Orange distortion with the phaser pedal at the beginning.

You'd be a fool to do this!!!! You'd wind up with some moron who can't sing trying it. (that would be me, BTW.)

Anyway, thanks for the details. I just started trying to mic my guitar amp, so am always looking for help in that area. Cool tune.
