Alesis ADAT LX20 Error Codes

Hi , I have an Alesis ADAT LX20 and when I stick the tape in , it ejects it and gives me the Er Code 4 , Does anyone know what this is , and how it might be fixed ???

Er 4 is a tape threading error. Did you try using another tape?

BTW, you can dowload a manual at www.alesis.com.

Yea I tried another tape , but maybe they were both bad, OR it needs cleaned ???? , Thanks for the reply..... I will check into it...... and Go download that manual..... thanks again.
