Why are the tracks off my HD24 only 16 bit?

I just recorded some bass parts for a project that was original tracked at 96/24. I setup the project as a 12-track 96kHz and imported the wavs to the HD24XR. I recorded the bass parts and went to export them back to my PC and found they were 96kHz but at 16-bit. Any idea what I did wrong?
Thanks
Nate

For anybody who stumbles across this later: I found it in the FST software under the "transfer" tab. Click "options" and select 24-bit... sometimes I feel so dumb...
