elove is on a distinguished road
calling all experts...vocal booth build!!

I am trying to build a vocal booth for the first time. Here is the deal... My room is 18X14. I am going to put the booth in the corner of the room, using two sides of the room as my walls (one wall is made out of wood, covered in some type of fiberglass board or something and the other wall is brick). So technically I am only building an L-shaped wall since I am using the corner of the room as my other two walls. Well of course one of the walls will have to be a small door. Now for my questions..
1. What are the best wood materials to use in construction?
2. Should I use wood for the walls and put foam on the inside or should I put one layer of wood, some type of insulation, and seal with another panel of wood?
3. What type of wood do I need for the door?
4. What is a good size to actually build the booth? I was thinking about 5X5 but some of you were saying that 5X5 may be too small?
6. What type of light Do I use for the inside?
7. What about ventilation...is there a particular type of fan to use and where to put it?
8. Will using the brick side of the room affect anything, negative/positive?

If you all can give me specific answers to these questions, I would appreciate it.
