Suitable for Drum Absortion Gobos?

Does anyone have any experience or advice in using office divider panels to surround drums? I can pick up a few of these for next to nothing and was considering using them as gobos. They are insulated on both sides and fabric covered. They are approx. 3" wide. I was thinking about either inserting plywood in the inside of the middle of the panels or attaching the plywood on one side of the panels. They are apprx. 60" high. The application is for a basement home studio. (Done the alt. studs, rigid insulation RC, 2 drywall layers). Any advice is greatly appreciated.

They're not really designed for sound as much as they are for aesthetics to create cubicles but they do block sound. I've been in a few practice rooms that have office grade gobos. If they are cheap I'd pick them up. You can always rework them at a later date to get some proper deadening materials in there.

I'd buy them. Just my 2 cents worth.
