Native Instruments B4 and Sonar

Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to get the B4 to work with Sonar. It works with a bit of latency in standalone mode, but I would like to put some MIDI information through it.

I can import it into Sonar as a DXi synth but don't really know what track to use this on. I recorded a MIDI track, then put the DXi on a bus and chose that bus as the output of the MIDI track, but then I was left with no sound.

My sound card is an Audiophile 2496 and keyboard is a Roland ep85.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Milkman

up at the top of the menu bar for Sonar, click on INSERT, click dxi synth, select b4. Then tell it if you want a midi track or just the dxi track alone since you already have a midi track. In the midi track you already have printed select IN and set it for omni, select OUT and scroll to the B4. In CHANNEL select B4 channel 1. press w and then play. It should work in B4 is installed correctly and if Sonar picked it up after it was installed.
