NT1/NT1-A comparison

Hey all,
I've just recently found this forum and I don't know if it's been discussed, so at the risk of beating a dead horse:

Does anyone know the difference between or have any experience with the Rode NT1 and NT1-A mics? When they redesigned the NT1-A, is its performance comparable with the NT1? I've never used either but have read and heard lots of good things about the original NT1.

Thanks for any opinions out there!
