Sonar and MOTU 1224 questions

Does anybody know anything about the MOTU 1224?

My question is:

Im trying to route all the channels 1-8 to output thru the Mainouts 1-2 of the MOTU.

Im trying to do away with my Alesis Studio 32 console, this is how I currently monitor the channels. I use seperate mic pres all going into the MOTU then out of the MOTU via firewire into the PCI 324 card.

This system works well accept for the Alesis is is giving me some trouble and and I'd like to use something like The Big Knob or the Central Station.

I've tried verything I can think of using the MOTU's console interface, I just cant figure it out, ARGHH!

Thanks,
Makes
