Ampeg Reverberocket

Well, I went and spent $500 buying a 66 Reverberocket (GS-12R) from Jess Oliver.

In case you didn't know, he's the engineer who designed Ampeg's amplifiers during the 60s. Yeah, the B15, etc..

I know I paid too much, but I'm selling a 57 Reissue Precision that's too beautiful to gig with, and I figure if he gives the amp a clean bill of health, it's likely to be near perfect. And, he invited me to send him my B15-N for some TLC.

So... any Ampeg amp users here?

It was worth every penny, don't kid yourself. Would you like to trade for a 68 super reverb? You can easily find schematics for your amp.
I have always been in love with ampegs, don't know why I am using this super reverb?

Thanks for the offer, dragon, but I already have a Fender Concert Amp with 4 10s, and it does a pretty good Super sound. I was looking for a 20-watter, so that's what I got...
