buy a Peavey Chorus 130??
I am thinking of getting a Peavey Classic chorus 130 for running a Roland GR33 guitar synth thru. It is about 20 years old, solid state, 2 x 65 watts, ..your typical Peavey stuff. 200 bucks at the store.
I would still use my guitar amps for my straight guitar sounds, but anyone familiar with this amp enough to recommend it for the synth sounds? Realizing a dedicated keyboard amp might be best, just wondering how much this amp would really color the sound. I had always thought the Peavey amps to be pretty clean, especially the solid state ones. ...hence I never got one for guitar only! ...or I guess I could just lug my GR33 rig and guitar into the store and try it out ![]() |
