i can't record in 24
when ever i record it says recording in 16 bit how can i get to 24 bit

Adobe Audition uses 32 bit, which is the equivalent of 24 bit. To record a new project, go to Edit/New and, when the window comes up, select your bit depth and sample rate. You can do a search and find a lot of information about how 32 bit = 24 bit.

Depends on your soundcard, too...
If you have a built-in soundcard or an SBLive, you're never gonna get any more than 16.... |

This brings up a problem I've had recording my PODxt in Audition 1.5 The POD can output at 24/48, but whenever I select 32bit as the input on Audition, nothing from the POD gets through.
