HD24 newbie question

Hey all

I've been looking at the HD24 but have never used one, and am curious about one thing. It has 48 inputs. Are they say Stereo left and right, or is it 24 inputs and 24 outputs?.

Thanks for that, So id be able to have 24 chans coming from a mixer into it, then 24 chans back out for mixing?

It has 24 analog balanced +4 inputs and 24 balanced +4 outputs. The +4 is their level.
