What do you know about ULTRASOUND amps?

I've been trying to figure out a good setup for performing live(see my other thread: http://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=156428). Someone suggested the Ultrasound AG-50DS3 for what I need. Anybody have any experience/opinions with this amp? Thanks.

If you spend $550 taking care of your guitar, what's your plan for amplifying your vocals?

I don't own an Ultrasound, nor have I ever heard one, but I know from frequenting the "Acoustic Guitar Forum (AGF)", which is formerly the "Taylor Guitar Forum", they are very well regarded. You may want to do a search about them at the AGF. http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/index.php

Nice amps, good value. The DS3 model has updated and improved preamp circuitry, with additional features. Ultrasoud also offers powered extension cabs with the same power amp and speakers as the 50DS3 (they're called 50E). I use a pair of 50E for monitors on my gigging rig.
