nirvana nevermind kick sound
hey there
does anyone know what kick drum and mic were used on nirvana's nevermind album? that kick sound is the bomb! thanks

grohl played tama artstars for a while. though, he could have used anything in the studio.

You sure it isn't a sample? Andy Wallace has been known to use a few of those during mixdown..........

here's a good read detailing the recording process of nevermind. andy wallace did infact blend kick and snare samples in the mix. if you listen to the butch vig mixes on the box set, you can hear the difference between the two. |
