Zildjian currently makes a 24" A Medium Ride. It's got a pretty good sound. It's got a big bell, it's dark and it's got a little more ping than I was looking for but you can still wash it out and crash on it. Paiste also makes a 24" 2002 Ride. That's what John Bonham used. I've seen 26" Zildjian rides on Ebay but i've never heard them. The bigger rides are probably for orchestra use.

Cymbal bags

I don't think they make a cymbal bag bigger than a 22".

I think a better question would be "where do YOU sit when you're using it?" Maybe you have to play the drums by remote control!

Biggest ive personally seen is a Paiste 2002 24" ride.

The thing is...unless it was a washy jazz ride (but then why would you want a 24" one) then it'd have to sodding heavy! To still get a nice sound it must be sooo thick!

....It would hurt

wesley tanner will become famous soon enough
one time me and my drummer hammered out the middle of a stop sign we stole from the city's dump and then drilled a hole in it.... it sounded like ass, so we glued a bunch of green army men to it and hung it on the wall.

You could always try one of these for a Flat ride.

It's a 32" or 34" Gamelan Gong made by Zildjian during the 1970's. One of my friends bought it in LA when he was living there... it sounds nothing like a traditional "Oriental" Gong. It's just like a giant, extra-thick Ride cymbal - and definitely not pleasing to the ear to crash on. Klang with a capital K!

But it's got a hole in the center to be mounted on a cymbal stand, so you might want to try one of these - and it will definitely cut through the mix if you're riding on it.
