FA: dbx 165

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE%3AIT&rd=1

with a buy it now of 550! here's the description:

"You are bidding on a dbx 165 compressor w/ a funky meter.

I bought a pair off of ebay a few years ago - the seller was perfectly upfront about the meter on this one as I am: it sticks and swings from time to time - but that's not a huge issue as it works great sonically and is in excellent condition....l sold the other one and this one has to go. I'm selling as i bought some 161's...i cannot afford to keep both...i'd like to!

lousy picture, sorry. the unit being sold is the top one. email me for more pix that are a bit better - this is the only full frontal one i have.

i'd get the meter fixed and sell after but these compressors aren't fetching what they used to (lord knows why - they're amazing!)......i can't take that hit on the repair. for service, though, check out www.musicianservice.com . i've lowered the price appropriately...so it's actually a great deal for someone!

Check/ Money Order please...personal checks fine but they take longer to clear is all. Buyer pays ship - i recommend Fex Ex Ground - it's cheeeeeeeeeep and really good! Questions? Let me know! Happy to speak on the phone as well.

Thanks!

Mike McDonald"

Thanks guys!

Mike

selling @ 375...this is way cheap! the guy who bought it on ebay flaked out and left ME negative feedback. weird.

$375 sounds like a good price for anyone who is interested. I have a couple for sale for a little more than that and found out that they can be completely reconditioned for $220.

thanks xstatic - appreciate it! i am pricing mine to mooooove...

these aren't as popular of late...they rule. i just wanted the 160/1 thing not the 165.
