What do you guys thing about this new stand alone from Tascam?

I made a post about this previously in General Discussion, but perhaps in the Tascam forums would have been a better place.
Anyways, my point is this.... Is this machine not just a glorified computer with the software already installed? Would it not make at least as much sense to build a PC and get say...Cubase SX3? I will find a link to my previous post and post it here. link added... http://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=187525
