Two condensers should be fine, or one dynamic on the kick and one condenser on the rest.

I get great results with my Gretsch Catalina set as follows, the set is tuned well, the heads are pretty tight. It sits in a corner of a basement (not ideal for sure), I have some baffling material around it. I position an Oktava 319 over the top from behind the drummer pointing at the heads. Inside the kickdrum is an AKG 550.

Condenser overhead and a dynamic kick mic could produce good results... but the placement gets critical. Lenny Kravitz used just one mic on drums for his first bunch of albums, but of course... that was a great mic, great room etc.
