Samick Ultramatic UM-4 (Excellent PRS Copy)

I've got a 'like new' Samick Ultramatic UM-4 for sale. It's the top o' the line of Samick guitars, and it's a stellar, top notch PRS copy. It has a gorgeous midnight ocean blue quilt-top, set neck (maple), Wilkinson tremolo, Grover tuners, Duncan designed pickups... the works. There's not a scratch, nick, or spot on this guitar. It looks like a brand new guitar right off the wall of your local guitar store. I still got all the original tags and stuff to go along with it. This guitar plays and sounds incredibly great. If the real PRS is considered a perfect '10', then the UM-4 is like a 9.5, at less than 1/3 of the price of the real thing.

Here's the specs on this fine guitar...

Construction : Set Neck

Scale : 24, 3/4"

Body : Alder w/High Tech Quilt Maple Arch top

Neck : Maple

Fingerboard : Rosewood

Inlays : Dots

Hardware : Chrome

Tuners : Grover

Bridge : Wilkinson VS-50K

Frets : 22F

Pickups : Duncan Designed HB-102N, HB-102B

Electronics : 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3-way Toggle

This guitar sells for over $500 new. Best price I've found at a music store on line is $518. Also, for some strange reason, they're not offering the midnight ocean blue quilt top anymore... and it's the best looking color!!!

Anyway, I'll post pics when I get a chance.

In the mean time, I'll consider any serious offers on it.

PICS ARE NOW AVAILABLE RIGHT HERE!

Pics were taken with and without tremolo arm on it.

Sorry about the glare on some of the pics, I'm a crappy photographer.

Notice the dual strap buttons on the bottom... very cool feature!

After taking the pics of this guitar I played it for awhile... like, a long while. The main reason I decided to sell it was that my guitar collection has peaked at 10 guitars and I figured I'd sell at least one to widdle it down to single digits again.

A couple of days ago I'd have let this guitar go for $325 with shipping included. If that offer was made, I would have honored my commitment to sell. But after playing it again I've decided that it's just too good to let go... so I'm gonna keep it. I'm glad nobody made a solid offer, because I'd really regret selling this one! I would've deleted this thread, but only a moderator can do that. Hence, this is a retraction of my intent to sell.

. . . . missed it!

Oh well - kinda want a tele, anyway, but that samick would have been sweet!

How cheap on that pacifica. I just need a versitale electric guitar. I was thinking about a mexican tele, but something cheaper would be nice, too. I've heard some good things about those yamahas.

Yamaha Pacifica's are awesome guitars for the money. They rival guitars that cost 3 or 4 times as much.

Okay, I decided to put this guitar back up for sale, because now I actually NEED the money.

$325 - includes shipping.

Not a penny less, since I can Ebay it and get more. This is a deal I'll only offer to you Homereccer's. Check the pics, check the stats, this is one fine guitar. Also, check my feedback in the "Good Guys" thread. All are totally happy buyers who bought stuff from me.

I take PayPal.

PM me if interested. If I don't get back to you immediately it might be because I'm leaving Thursday for JamFest.... in which case I'll get back to you on Tuesday.

Dang, if only I had $325. . . .

I've got a P-90 guitar, and I could use one with 'buckers. That guitar is sure pretty. . .

My birthday is Saturday, so let me think about it.

also, don't know if you'd know this, but how easy would it be to put a coil-tap on it to get some single-coil type sounds out of it as well?

I wish I could tell you about the coil tap, but I don't have any idea.

Let me know if you're still interested, I'm sure you'd give this guitar a good home.

Well, as tempting as it is. . .I think I'm going to have to pass on this one. I need an amp a little more than a new electric guitar.

I'll keep an eye out on this thread in case I run into some extra funds for my b-day.

Last chance @ a reduced price of $315 shipped... that is as low as I can go.

It's going on Ebay tomorrow... Thursday at the latest. When it goes there I'll set a $330 minimum reserve price + $25 shipping.

Once it goes to Ebay, I will NOT pull the Ebay ad and sell it at this price!!!

This guitar is in like new condition, and it's still got the hang-tags and plastic coverings on it.

Make your move now, or lose out on a killer deal!
