does anyone know where i can get used/new power supply for a bluetube for under $25!?

i just bought a bluetube used but it didn't come with a power supply. i called presonus and they said that a power supply cost $25, and that i can only use the one that they sell, no other one will work but both bluetubes use the same power supply though. if anyone knows anything that might help me then let me know, i'm on a tight budget. Thanks, Jason

You may wish to check www.PartsExpress.com

They have a large variety of wall warts to choose from. If you know the voltage output and current rating you need, you can check them. Also make sure the connector is right type. If doesn't match, you'll need change it. Know what your doing there though.

Look at the back of the box. It will say how much voltage and amps it will need.

You can get wall warts from Radio Shack or any on-line electronics dealer. Just be sure to match the voltage and get at least as many amps as the box needs AND make sure the connector is the right polarity.

Basic electronics, not rocket science...

Manual for the BlueTube states 18 VAC @ 100ma.
The wart below may fit the bill. Probably have to change the plug to fit yours.
As it's AC, the connector polarity won't make a difference.

Buying the wart, a new plug, plus shipping you may be up close to what Presonus gets.
