Well, it sucks to lose a mic. I recommend going out and buying another SM57. Even if your old one turns up, it never hurts to have two SM57s.

DUDE I feel your pain...

I lost my wallet for 3 weeks... I found it in a pair of pants behind my dryer last night... I live with 5 SLOBBY roommates, and last night, when one was throwing things around after coming home drunk, some things landed behind the dryer, when I grabbed them, I found my pants, etc etc.... anyways... no WAY did I throw my pants back there.... I just have roomies that suck. Seriously, you guys would cry if you heard one of um's band... I've honestly had company get sick and have to leave during their practices... wow. now that makes me want to find some of their stuff and post it up... heh... PROJECT!!

Don't feel bad man, I lost mine too. Last August actually.. I left it at a gig and when I went back it wasn't there. Fucking thieves. I'm saving up to buy another now.. I bought a couple other mics in the meantime.

I lose guitar picks all the time, but never a mic.

One time I lost the input enable buttons for half my inputs in cubase!

I reinstalled the drivers like three times, tried everything I could think of, with no luck.

Eventually I figured out that the window was just resized and I needed to make it taller or scroll down

that makes me feel like less of an idiot...but the mixing window didnt cost a hundred dollars (which for me right now is quite a bit) but no worries i found it in the back of one of my buddies amps.
