Connecting a Mixing desk to a Pc

Hi guys,

Here is my problem:

So I'm recording a song : on 2 Hoontech Dsp2000's

Through a semi-prof mixing desk:

I record it on my pc and have 16 tracks:
Now I want to add effects,EQ and Compression to these 16 tracks, using hardware compressor and effects.
Now my question is:

How can I add these effects and get them recorded back on my pc?

Can i use inserts on this card? or is there another way?
What is the normal setup in studio's?
