new idea

my plan on getting as close to the chris layton sound (SRV drummer)

Pacific FS birch set
remo pinstripes
sabian AA rock ride
Zildjian k\z 13" hats
not too sure about crashes but i think
Sabian AAX 16" studio series
Sabian AAX 18" studio series

overheads: Oktava MC-012
Kick : AKG d112
Snare: Shure Sm-57

all with some form of plate reverb ....havent exactly figured out much about it ....yet!

not sure if i should mic the toms or not maybe the floor tom?
Chris Laytons drums are kinda punchy so...does anyone have any suggestions of things to change or add?
