how to get plate reverb
well is there something i should buy or should i use my Lexicon phanteon plug in that came with pro tracks plus

An actual plate reverb will cost you more than a very decent car.
Basicly, if your happy with the plate verb you have now, why look further? If your not happy, try another verb plug ![]() |

there is a company that sells them new for under 2 grand I can't find the website now...
it is basically a metal sheet, maybe 6' by 4'. i believe there is a speaker or something attached to the metal sheet, and it vibrates and sounds like reverb. there is a microphone attached to the sheet at the other end that picks up the vibration. add a 2nd microphone and you have stereo returns. |

yes, there are plugins, but thats not how you get a plate reverb

FWIW, the 'Plates' in the Lexi 80 and 90 for example are quite different than in the UAD-1.
Comparing to some real long away far ago recollections, I'd say the UAD might be 1. Wayne |

Unless you want it for the cool factor, use a plugin.
