Does any one ever do this...?

Do any of you ever do this?

- Get a good supply of your favorite beverage (Bud Light)
- Go to your modest home studio
- Turn on all the rack gear
- Put on an album that you think was perfectly recorded
- Sit back and just get drunk and hear things you never heard in a album
that you have heard a hundred times
- enjoy the lights of all the gear you couldn't afford
- Write down notes about the recordings that never make sense in the
morning
- Wish you could go back in time

Well do you?

yep, some of us still can.........I like being a cheap drunk. It leaves more money for gear.

usually when I'm drunk, I don't spend much time around my gear. I tend to do stupid things when I'm drinking, like playing slide guitar with a half full beer.

Cool Getting drunk with your gear.

I don't listen to albums though. I listen to short demo's I made on cassette in my apartment back in the late 80's. Still impress myself on what I did with so little back then. Then I may try some recording and it usually sounds as bad as I feel the next morning. ha,ha,ha. Pj
