Has anyone used one of these mic preamps? Its a cheap one I know ,but need to start somewhere,Jim

I bought an Ultragain pro a couple months ago and I love it. I have an old tascam 12 channel 8 bus recording console that has decent mic pre's but I like the ultragain better. Aside from micing acoustic and doing vocals I like the sound of a bass ran through it.

Thanks Nay FOR FEEDBACK. Ive heard about the ART stuff but this ultragain is 2 channels for $150.00 so Ill take a shot at it. Jim

Hey. Look into the Presonus Blue Tube. Its dual channel and goes for the same price. Theres a thread on it over in 'Microphones.' Im pondering purchasing one real quick here, and I've heard nothing but good things about it so far.
