So what is UP with this site?

We already have produced two MULTI-Disk compilation CDs here at homerecording.com from the submissions of folks that have music to share that they have produced.

When are we going to get Vol. 3 going?

I just got my copy of Vol 1 of RP.com's version of this and the gauntlet has been thrown down!!! Mathematically, since there is almost 100% HR membership among the submitters to the RP compilation, I'd say that H/R has some work to do to woo back contributors for Vol. 3. But there is also a vast pool of folks yet to be tapped for a contribution of a track.

I'm finally getting sorted and would be up for some big-time collabbing in about a month's time ... but the way I'm feeling at the moment makes me wonder what worth there is left in this site. I joined at the end of a classic era ...

I'm fast burning out on it too, the high post count being any indication. I am at a point now, as I said earlier, of hanging up the recording thing and getting back to playing (need some serious guitar and vocal lessons). I have done what I could with what I have, both in talent and gear. It's time to up both...

Drstawl is right. For those of us stupid enough to call this place home, and I count myself amongst them, we have to get this back on the road. It may even save me from getting banned!!

I'll produce two projects this summer, then, one of myself and one of a group of friends I'm doing stuff with. The best track will be submitted. It'll be crap ... but it's time to reprazent!

It's the same people who hang out in here, isn't it? What's the difference? I have an account over there, but I don't like the way their boards are set up, so I've only been there twice. I haven't seen or heard anything on the RP cd...

That's just it. Pretty much all. All the talented people left to form their own site because they were sick of the unmoderated disgrace of members like 'you know who'. Twas the end of an era ... and I was just getting settled in as they all left!
