Alese ModFX

Hi I have recently aquired a full set of these effects modules. I was just wondering if anyone else has used them and how you rated them.

Personally I have only found the Smashup compressor to be of any use.

I got the Musician's Friend catalog yesterday and noticed that they are blowing out the whole Mod FX series. Except for the Bitrman and vocoder unit, which are $50, the rest are $40. I've heard good things about the Bitrman unit, so I ordered one of those. Maybe I'll have to take a second look at the Smashup compressor, but I've always read the Bitman was the best of the bunch.
