Impressions of some tracks

Hey guys,

First time posting. I have to say this site is definitely a great resource.

Anywho, on to business...

I've got 5 or 6 tracks up on my website, http://www.droneloop.com.

These were mostly recorded a long time ago, on nothing other than a SM57 (one of the songs was recorded on just a laptop mic actually). Anyway, I'm working on finishing several projects this summer and was wondering what you guys thought of the stuff I have up there.

Please let me know your impressions etc. of the songs,
Deepak

Listening to 'pump up the gain' at My Space (Just a thought, but you might want to link to your Sound Click or My Page sites instead of your web page for us to find your music... unless the songs are actually on your web page and I can't find 'em?)

Whoa.. song just ended abruptly.. Did My Space do that?

Anyway... your voice is getting overpowered by the guitars... you might want to try and get them to trade places in the mix...
Also, it sounds like you have the bass panned right... almost a hard right? Not too sure why you did that... it almost made my right ear shut down from imbalance...

I'll try and give another one a listen as time allows... I see by your notes you're a sort of 'sneak recorder'.. Sneak in recording when the neighbors won't scream...
lol More power to ya bud!

Just listened to 'walking around with gen'....

Reminded me of the Beatles Archive tapes with John experimenting with some vocal arrangements

I could tell you were holding back on your singing (trying not to wake the neighbors?) as there really wasn't any confidence to your voice, and your pitch fluctuates in and out because of it...

I'd like to hear this one where you say 'fuck the neighbors' and sing it like you really want to...

(Unless that's how you WANTED to sing it... in which case... Never mind..)

Roger good mate, this will lead you directly to the tunes http://www.droneloop.com/#media, or if you don't feel like clicking that, goto the main page and click media.

These are definitely headphone listening tunes.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, keep it coming!
