What to do with the old stuff???

Alright... I'm going to be getting the Yamaha Motif ES or the Roland Fantom... What Do I do with the old stuff? Send it to the Smithsonian? I hate to throw it away because it's been so serviceable. I don't think anyone would want it. Heck... they don't even make 3.5" floppies standard on computers any more. That was the best aspect of my Roland Sound Canvas in its time....

This is what the guy said back in the 70's when he got his new Peavey solid state amp. "Man, I gotta get rid of this nasty ol Fender Bassman"
Keep it. One day everyone will want it cause it's "vintage"

What old stuff are you talking about? Old synths, old computers?

If you can afford to buy new gear without selling the old stuff you might as well keep it for a while. Then, if after a a few months or a year you still aren't using it you could consider selling it.
