I need help recording my digital piano
does anyone have any tips on recording a digital piano that doesn't sound like a digital piano?

Do you mean 'doesn't sound like' as in 'doesn't sound like' or 'doesn't sound like' as in 'sounds like something else'? |

ah ha, sorry. I have a casio celviano which has a beautiful piano patch. However, we are having some trouble capturing a good sound. we are aiming for a good old upright-y sound but so far are only managing to capture a lot of "hanging digital" tone. if that makes any sense....just looking for some tips on getting a clean, real piano sound.

Get yourself an Alesis NanoPiano. Your Casio does have midi, right?
