Outdoor Mic'ing

Hello there,

A bit of an unusual question.

My community theatre may be having some shows outdoors at parks and possibly by the water.

Since I've only dealt with indoor sound before, I was wondering if anyone here had any insight as to how to best mic actors outdoors who might not necessarily be standing next to the mics.

Can this be achieved well with dynamic mics on stands or what?

As for wireless we currently have one Shure wireless lavalier pack.

I'd probably also record the feed for our public access TV presentation.

Man, I think you just need to mic it and pray for no wind, rain, snow, fire trucks, ambulances, highspeed police chases, ice cream trucks, church bells, woodpeckers, seaguls, cat fights, dogs, and harley davidsons.
