Tape for MSR-16

Hello,
Does anyone know which tape the Tascam MSR-16 was calibrated for from the factory? I just bought one that was purchased new in 1997 and I don't think was recalibrated for another type of tape. But, I can't seem to find any tape recommendation by Tascam in the manual. Any ideas?
