I assume this is Mac OS X? If so, it depends on how the apps were written. I've never used Amplitube Live, but I do know a fair bit about CoreAudio.... Basically, what you would want to do, assuming it gives you the option, is to select a single pair of outputs as the output device. Most CoreAudio apps will show several options---Delta 1010LT Multichannel, Delta 1010LT 1&2, Delta 1010LT 3&4, etc.

Select one pair for Amplitube. Select a -different- pair in your audio recording application. Hook the correct output(s) to the correct input(s), and make sure both applications are set to the same sampling rate and bit depth. I don't think the Delta can operate in multiple modes on different sets of outputs.

If that doesn't work, you might try using something like "Audio Hijack" to record the output of Amplitube Live to an AIFF file and bring that into your audio app when you're done.

ah darnnnn

you were right, i cannot use the delta1010lt in multi session, so i can make run amplitube live while recording on cubase sx. i routed amplitube live to the output 3, which i routed to the input 4, but it does'nt record anything. and im not on mac os but pc, so i will download blaze audio. the problem is that i will have to record and then place everything in cubase so it fits with the drum, which can be an arse, and im probably sure it will record the drum as well. aren't the programs that let multiple devices use the same hardware at the same time?
