Ways to live stream

I am a worship leader at a church and was wondering if anybody had some good ideas on streaming live. I used winamp shoutcast server a while back, but I figured some sort of better thing has come along in the last couple years.

Set up a massive radio singal transmitter (can be "borrowed" from any radio station, just wear gloves), blast it over to your house, then straight into shoutcast. It'll go down a treat.

j/k

Seriously though, do you have a puter with shoutcast set up in your church or something? or whats the set-up you got to work with?

Windows media encoder is the easiest

You'll need to download Windows Media Encoder to your audio "server"

Then open a port on your router and forward it to the same port you open in WME. There is a template for broadcasting a live event.

For the interactive route you could use Yahoo! messenger or PalTalk

I've used all but pal talk

You can see how it works out on Sunday at two if you are interested.
