Roland XP-80 Synth Workstation

I'm considering buying the XP-60 or XP-80 synth workstation. Can anyone give me any feedback about these machines,

Myself, I don't have that many experience with those machines. But several of my collegues complain about the midi troubles the XP-60 can give. I also remember a rehearsel with an entire orchestra where the keyboard player had serious trouble with his XP-80, who detuned the whole time...
But again, I might make a mistake..
