thanks
that's what I was thinking, I posted that in another thread somewhere a while ago and never got a response. so when refering to how good a DAW is, does that just mean how good your computer is?

a DAW encompasses really everything. your sound card, your software program and plugins and your computer as a whole. it's a workstation...that can have the same amount of gear a big pro studio might (but all in a computer)
