Finding a demagnetizer

Hi, I'm new here, pretty new to home recording too. I got a Tascam 414mkII a couple of months ago and I'm only just now getting round to getting a demagnetizer for it. The problem is that I pretty much cannot find one anywhere. I've caled up all sorts of electronics stores, music stores, radio parts stores where I live and none of them sell demagnetizers. I've checked online stores and found a few demagnetizers but none seem to deliver to where I live (Melbourne, Australia).

Ebay seems to be my last resort. There are a lot of these (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....762029569&rd=1) there, are they as good as they say they are? Or does anyone know anywhere else I coiuld get a demagnetizer?
