Question do 3 foot (1 meter) TRS snakes exist? (8 or 16 channel)

hi,
well, i got a bunch of snakes, i'm gonna buy more of them,
but its bothering me that in my home studio the snake cables are TOO LONg,
10 foot snakes are nice for Live or when i'm recording in another room,

but i'd just like to connect my compressors to my patchbay with
a short snake.....or do i have to buy me 24 trs patchcables ...
(im not that rich... )

so on ebay you see TONS of 8 channel TRS snakes of 10 FOOT

what i'm looking for is a 3 foot 16 channel TRS snake
(new or used, don't care)
or 2 8-channel snakes will do too...

do you guys know any stores or people that sell this kinda stuff?

thanks alot!

Or have some snakes custom made for you. I've had several snakes built for me by hotwired cables, and they do a great job:

HOSA makes them as well as a host of others. I've got a couple of REDCO TRS snakes that are fine.

HOSA snakes are best avoided in my opinion. The only snake I've had go bad on me was a HOSA. I'm talking about the ones with the molded ends. HOSA also makes some snakes with metal connectors on the ends, and those would likely be more reliable than the molded ones.

Even so, nothing HOSA makes compares to the Hotwired Mogami or Horizon snakes I've had built for me. It might seem like more money up front, but in the long run you've got quality snakes that last. I'd think that ProCo snake linked to earlier would be fine in this regard as well.

well, honestly,
the snakes i'm using now are made by some weird chinese brand,
but they all work
i'm broke as hell, so i'm just looking for a cheap and "just working" solution,
this month i'm finally earning money with recording,
for the first time of my life !

so i think that my home studio will be awesome by the summer,
i'm constantly upgrading, i allmost got an entire balanced signal path,
sigh

I agree... HOSA cables are cheap and break really easy.
