How can i connect my regular gaming computer speakers AND my monitors to sound card?

How can i connect my regular gaming computer speakers AND my monitors to sound card?

Hi. I've got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 platinum EX, right now it's hooked up to some basic 2.1 speakers which i've used for general gaming etc. I just got some Resolv 65a monitors recently. Now since my sound card only has 1/8" out i was guessing that i have to get a 1/8" - 2x 1/4" splitter and run trs cable to my monitors right?

but If i do that, is there a way i can still use my regular speakers for gaming? I have a little 1/8 switch box i got from radio shack... is this the only way i could do it and would that wreck the quality? thanks.

That's a way to do it and it shouldn't affect the quality.

Adapters don't "change" quality.... they just change the shape of the plug.
