output in input
for some reason when i record with Adobe Audition 1.5, the sound that should be going to the line out also goes to the line in.
i have the metronome playing through my headphones to keep me in time, but it shows up on the recording track for some reason. its not just the metronome, other things such as the sounds from msn messenger also show up on the recording. how do i keep the output out of the recording? |

Double click the speaker icon in the lower right of your screen. Click options/proerties and then recording. Scroll through and make sure only the source you are using is checked for recording. If you have a higher end soundcard then it will have it's own mixer section where you would do this.
