Hi. i'm a total noob. I'll be making my music on my pc. Instumentally i don't play any instruments so i want to create it with software. So all i have to really bring in is vocals mostly. I did a little research and bought some basic gear.
Studio Projects B1 Condenser mic Studio Projects VTB1 Preamp Samson Resolv 65a monitors For my soundcard i have a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Platinum EX. it's a good upper end gaming/multimedia card. But it doesn't have balanced in or out. And it seems from what i've read its important for vocals. Will my preamp balance it and send it through my sound card balanced? Will my setup create decent recordings? |

As long as your cable runs are short enough, you need not worry for the moment.
