Plz help me out here, need guitar techies!

Hi everyone!

I am using a TC-Electronic G-Major multi-FX unit (sounds great!) And, with that I am using the Engl Z-12 midi floorboad. This unit looks cool, but can only switch presets. (can only send CC messages)

Now, I want to control the global tempo. The TC-Electronic guys told me that I wanted a momentary unlatching type of pedal. With 1/4" TRS.

I found the BOSS FS-5U. Does anyone know if this pedal will work?
Couldn't find out if it had 1/4" TRS, or just TS.

Any other suggestion to a pedal which fits the description above?

Please held me!

Best regards!!!

I use a Boss FS-5U and it is a TS pedal --- I don't know of a TRS device that will work for you. But that doesn't mean there isn't one out there - didn't your TC help desk friends offer any suggestions?

Have you considered other ways of getting the tempo into your rig? Like taking a midi cord from the midi out of the sequencer/computer that you are using to the midi in of the TC G-Major?
