TASCAM US428 w/Acid 4.0?
Does anyone know if it is possible to record multiple tracks at a time from the US428 into Acid 4.0?

I know that Cubase is bundled with the Tascam, I'm wondering is Acid 4.0 will accpet the US428 as a control surface.

Sorry thane1200, you can only record one (1) channel at a time in Acid Pro 4.0.

If you want to record multiple channels with a Sonic Foundry/Sony product, you will have to use Vegas 4.0 or Vegas 5.0.

You won't have any problems with using Vegas, because it is setup similiar to Acid.

Probably not. Acid is not a multi-tracker. I am sure that Vegas 5.0 will accept the Tascam unit.
