Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 (passive)

Anyone know anything about these monitors? I've come across a pretty good deal on a pair, and want to know if they're up to part with the 8.2 actives at all? I already have a good power amp, just need some better monitors than the Pioneers I'm using.

i did talk with an dealer who know the 8 and 9 diamonds very well.

Couldn“t hear the diamond 9 series until now but will do it next time.
He told me that the diamond 8 and 9 series sounds very equal but new series looks much better and have especially better woofer with an better low end.

Also the Stereo image is better.

The low end is really pretty poor on the 8.2A's, only usable to around 80Hz. Any improvement in this department would be very welcome. I would take a listen to the new ones.

Either that, or just get some Yorkville YSM1P's, which are better speakers all around.
