Where to get a workstation (desk)?

Hullo,
I'm in need of a decent desk (the actual desk, not a console). I don't particularly want to buy Raxxes, nor do I want to spend hundreds of dollars on a high-end, solid maple desk. I need something large enough to sustain a Ramsa WR8816, computer monitor, 2 yorkville monitors, and keyboard; i would also prefer to have one of those desks with a rackmount at the back. Anyone?

I'm a big fan of building your own. A piece of 3/4" oak plywood is around $50. That and a saw can make a real nice console that would be way stronger than one of those partical board deals that chip apart if you give it a nasty look.

I have also build my own before; a 4x8 sheet of plywood can easily make a large 4'x6' "L" shaped desk with 1x4 uprights... very sturdy and cheap.

But if you're not a carpenter, just go over to an Office Depot-type store... you can easily find desks and corner workstations for a reasonable amount (I spend only $100 for my current corner workstation and it wouldn't have been worth it to try to build it myself...)
