Which should I use?

I need to mix a demo for some friends. In my current situation I can only mix on either cheap little computer speakers or Sony MDR-7506 headphones. The headphones are good headphones, but I know it is not good to mix on headphones. Do you think I should mix on the headphones or on the computer speakers?

I'd try using both and try to get it to sound good on each set; then plan on burning lots of reference CD copies and take it to your car, home stereo, etc. and listen to what you've got against other things you're familiar with.

I have made mixes exclusively with headphones and exclusively with my crappy computer speakers before. The mixes with the speakers translated much better. Headphones suck for making mixing decisions. I only use them during tracking.

Ok thanks guys. I guess I will just use the speakers for non, but sometimes I have to mix on headphones because I mix in the family room and people don't want to hear the same thing over and over.
