What hardware should I use for mounting?

What kind of hardware should I use to attach equiptment to my rack, I have some compressors but neither came with the rack mounting screws. Any advice?

The title of this thread sounds a bit X-rated, but I will resist the temptation.

The compressors have rack ears, right? If not, that is a different story - but to address the `screw hardware needed to mount' question:

If your rack rails are metal, the standard is usually 10/32 machine screws.

you can purchase 19" standard size rack shelves
