Wharfedales - No Blue Light?

So I just hooked up my new 8.2a's from Deepwater (thanks again) and I noticed the blue lights do not come on. What's the deal?

Mine don't have a blue light either... hmmm... (I just got them from Deepwater too). Are they supposed to have one? I know people had posted about the blinding blue light before.

The blue light is brightly illuminated on both of mine. Some find it too bright, but I like it. I'm sure it's a little irritant if it doesn't work, but it certainly doesn't effect performance.

Just got mine off ebay a week ago and nope, no blue light.

speakers work fine though.....

I've had a pair of active Tannoy Reveals for about five years and the blue light on one of them has NEVER worked. The speakers sound fine, so I never really cared. It must be a conspiracy of the monitor manufactures :-)

One of mine is faulty too, I mean, just the blue LED, otherwise it is Ok. I think they are great entry level monitors for that price, but realize too that being manufactured in China and having seen so many people complaining about this, they don't seem to have the best quality out there.

I guess that's what can happen for not paying 30% more for KRK's made in US.
